The 002-061-J kit includes connector covers that protect exposed connectors when the tailgate is removed and eliminate the "Tailgate Ajar" Message on the driver information center. Used on vehicles with a Push Button Tailgate release /Power down, NOT for use on tailgates with Power Up/Down function and Key FOB Control. This is a complete kit, but not all connectors may be compatible with some vehicles, as features and wiring can vary.   ***THIS KIT IS FOR TAILGATE REMOVAL, NOT FOR BED REMOVAL*** Bed removal may require dealer reprogramming to delete options such as Blind Spot, Cross Traffic, and Rear Parking Sensor.
