The GM Power, Ground, Brake Harness provides you with a fused battery power source, a high-quality vehicle ground point, and a reliable 3rd brake light signal. By using the factory wiring, your installation will achieve OEM quality, reduce installation time, and avoid unnecessary damage from splicing into factory wires. The 003-236 includes an extra connection to the vehicle fuse box for 12-volt power. If you only need CHMSL, no connection to the fuse box is required. See Application List Part #003-236

003-236 Installation Instructions
Connects to the rear of the Factory Trailer Brake Controller Harness
- Add Dielectric Grease to all connection points before assembly.
- Access the OEM CHMSL Lamp harness at the CHMSL, unplug it, and plug in the T-Harness.
- Route the CHMSL lead to the CHMSL Lamp and connect. The blue wire is Positive.
